The Choco Andino
Chocó 701 se encuentra en Nanegalito, a 1 hora de Quito en auto. Disfruta de 80 hectáreas de selva tropical y su magia. Puede disfrutar de nuestras rutas de senderismo, cascadas y actividades agrícolas.
Chocó 701 forma parte de la Reserva de la Biosfera del Chocó Andino de Pichincha. Ahora es el séptimo lugar en Ecuador, reconocido por la UNESCO por sus esfuerzos de conservación comunitaria y su importancia biológica global.
La región abarca dos ecorregiones críticas: el bosque húmedo y húmedo del Chocó - Darién, que se extiende desde Panamá hasta el occidente ecuatoriano, y los bosques montañosos andinos del norte. Las diferencias de altitud entre estas dos regiones lo convierten en un hábitat increíble para especies de plantas y animales, por lo que se considera un punto caliente de biodiversidad, reuniendo 10,000 especies de plantas y más de 600 especies de animales.
